New goalkeeper Andre Onana was left embarrassed after conceding from distance in a pre-season friendly at home to Lens.
Onana was making his first appearance at Old Trafford since signing for United from Inter Milan last month.
Lens’ Florian Sotoca spotted Onana off his line and proceeded to go for goal from just inside the United half.
Onana scrambled back towards his goal as he looked to keep the ball out but it was to no avail as he ended up conceding.
The 27-year-old will hope to fare better when the real action gets underway, with United starting their Premier League campaign at home to Wolves on August 14.
